Andrew Warren

Andrew Warren brings a background in technology and scaled justice reform work to For The People. As co-founder and COO of Recidiviz, Andrew has spent the past six years building an organization that creates pathways for tens of thousands of individuals to safely return to their communities. 

At Recidiviz, Andrew oversees multiple operational areas—from finance and people operations to new product R&D. His work has helped the organization expand its impact to corrections systems across half the United States, using data and technology to identify opportunities for reform while maintaining public safety. 

Andrew's path to criminal justice reform was shaped by his earlier work at the intersection of technology and public systems. He previously held roles as Director of Product at WeWork Cities, and as the first product manager at Sidewalk Labs. Prior to his role in government technology, Andrew led product development for one of Google’s early connected device platforms. 

His perspective has been sought for discussions on technology's role in social change, including on "The Business of Giving" and as contributions to the Ford Foundation's framework for evaluating public sector technology vendors. Andrew holds a BA in Computer Science and Economics from Cornell College, a background that informs his approach to creating systemic solutions to complex social challenges.
